The BHL was the necessary agent used for neutralizing the pyritic waste material in the ERPA fill area. The chemistry of the BHL had to meet certain permit requirements to ensure that the proper daily mixing ratio of Pyritic Rock-to-BHL blend was in place for in-situ treatment to be successful.
